PTO
The Union House PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) would like to welcome you. Whether you have been here for years or are new to UH, we are delighted to have you as part of the UH family. For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer organization established by parents/legal guardians and school staff. We are dedicated in maximizing our students’ educational experiences.
The UH PTO’s mission is to create a strong and unified partnership between UH staff and families in order to create opportunities, promote positivity, and boost overall morale.
We host many wonderful events throughout the year. For instance, Harvest Blast, Movie Nights, Cookie Dough Fundraiser, Candy Gram Sales, and Student Assemblies, just to name a few. We use all our resources, both manpower and monetary, to promote open communication between parents and staff, we encourage school spirit, and inspire students to become passionate lifelong learners and future upstanding citizens.
Our common goal is to bring parents and teachers closer together by uniting to empower our children to succeed. You can get involved by participating in fundraisers, providing volunteer time and/or offering monetary support. In addition, you are always welcome to attend PTO meetings. We meet approximately once a month to discuss events, plan fundraisers, and share ideas. All participation opportunities play a vital role.
We are looking forward to meeting families, parents, and legal guardians who would like to get involved with UH PTO. We encourage you to not only join, but to get involved as well! We greatly depend on volunteers and are always looking for those of you who would like to help make a difference in the lives of our children. Undoubtedly, many hands can make the job easier.
Please join us! Every positive imprint we make on our children can go a long, long way. We hope we can count on your continuous support.
